Early in my athenahealth journey, I worked on Hospital Billing Workflows. During that time, I worked with a friend in Hospital Pharmacy to understand the journey of a medication from the time it was ordered to the time it was billed. The resulting research led to changes in the Clinicals roadmap which created better experiences for nurses, billers, and medical records personell.
